I thought it best to make a reply at this point rather than editing the previous post..

For some unknown reason, the problem of resolution cleared itself..

I had to shutdown the PC, not with a thought of that being the corrective action, however, it apparently fix ...

I shall.. however, I am having a bit of problem with getting the mysql server going again... I must have messed it up, putting in password to secure it.
As soon as it is up and running I shall return here and post the URL..

I have installed Extreme Styles on PHPbb2 ver 152.
I find that the page window on the portal and forum does not size correctly within the browser page.
I have to scroll from left to right or visa versa, to see the entire page..
However, if I display the page window in full view it seems to be ok ...
