About Meeting Hack

Hi all

I have downloaded the Meeting Hack and I must admit that is very nice (useful if one orgonise meeting locally). I don't understand why it is not known to other phpbb users in other boards.

Anyway, I would like to point out some additional items that may be useful to the meeting hack and maybe can be added in updates.

Users side:
Let members or moderators to add/edit/delete a meeting from the main view page.

Using the Calendar lite, be able to enter an event in the calendar and have an option for the users/moderators/admin to organise the meeting from there, using the dates/details already entered in the calendar and create a meeting.

Thanks for using this mod.
And also thanks for your ideas.
But:

- The mod was created to set a discussed meeting for joining in. The mod was not created to discuss about an event.
- Integrate a meeting into the Calendar lite isn't hard to code, but what's with calendars like Calender pro, Topic Calendar, MyCalendar, etc.?
I only know the Calendar mods from Websnail, I'm not able to code this integrations for other calendars. So I'm not coding this add-on.

Sorry for these answers, but the mod was programmes based on already discussed compromises.

It was just an idea the integration with calendar.

It is good enough for arranging meetings and having other to join in, but what about having other menbers to create meetings from the same page of joing in, a link to other page which one can add/edit/delete meetings?

Hm, this will work, but the module in integrated till now into the ACP. If you have installed the Junior Admin you can enable access to this modul with this function.
Otherwise the ACP modul must be rewritten for the board area.

I have not installed the Junior Admin.
I think that the best way is to rewrite a little the ACP for the board area as I wound't like to give access to the ACP to others (even friend sometimes cause problems).

Are you thinking of writing it for the board area? Or can you help to write it? I think that it would be an asset to the mod...

Hi

about the PAGINATION of the meetings.

I have posted 24 meetings and still can't see the PAGINATION... is it working?

Yes this will work, but the pagination will be based on the ACP setting "Topics per page". Normaly 25.

Okay, here we go:
Attached 3 files for your requestion. A changed meeting.php and a new meeting_manage.php (upload both files to your phpbb-root folder) and meeting_viewlist_body.tpl (upload this file to each template folder you use.
After this copy the file admin/meeting_edit_body.tpl to templates/yourtemplatefolder/
That's all.
From now each mod and admin can edit existing meetings and each user add new meetings from the meeting table.
Admins also can use the ACP modul, too.

Hallo,
habe bei mir dem Meeting 1.0.3 Mod eingebaut.
Hat auch alles prima geklappt, nun habe ich gesehen das es den 1.0.4 gibt.
Habe dann einfach die neuen Dateien hochgeladen. Klappt auch alles soweit!

Nun wollte ich den Meeting Hack installierenm, Dateien hochgeladen und nu mommt folgende Fehler meldung;

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_DOUBLE_ARROW in .....................on line 764

dort steht das 'PAGINATION' => $pagination)

Weiß jemand Rat?!

Greetings, Im using this hack also, as I need the mods to be able to add meetings,

It works oki... but when I add meeting or Edit a meeting from the Meeting List I get the following:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for assign_block_vars() in /home/acero/zone/includes/template.php on line 163

It might not be Meeting hack... but it's on the ""Meeting_manage.php" page that the problem occurs.

I hope for a point of direction, so i can fixy it

Oh yes, big mistake myself.
Replace in this file the line

Code: Alles auswählen

		$template->assign_block_vars('enable_edit_meeting');

with

Code: Alles auswählen

		$template->assign_block_vars('enable_edit_meeting', array());

to fix it.

I changed the Default language of the "User : test" to English, but the board is mostly in Danish.

The test user has access to the Test forum and is Moderator for the the Test forum.
