Some users of phpbb require a data on portal which they will put in.
is it possible to make a
On EZ portal 3 columns, left and right which have less width and the middle one whic is very wide.
Is there a MOD which make all 3 columns a NEWS columns.
Where I can define what is in it with a post on forum, like the middle one.
this I really need.

There's still not such a mod which will recode the ezPortal to a simple news page.
And after doing this the portal will not be longer a portal
Why not create a new page with just news in 3 columns?

In fact I don't need a portal I need a site where are 3 columns with data and I can change that data everytime I want in forum topic.

That will be possible.
A first idea:
Seting three forums from which posts will be displayed on the "News Page".
E.g. forum 1 = left pane, forum 2 = middle pane, forum 3 = right pane.
And be able to set for each pane how many (latest) posts will be displayed.

exactly that, if there is possible to manage a posts order, that will be 10 points of 10.

So I can manage all blocks on portal to be what I want, with text, pics, etc.
2 things I like to keep on the right side. A navigation bar and a quick search, and nothing else.

And under the search box news?

Okay, this afternoon I'll release this as a final mod.

is it possible to make addon for this mod.
I need for some other forum a recent pic on tis page, below navigation and search.

I can insert this into the mod and enable/disable this via ACP with settings like number of recent posts, sorting, details... Something like this.

This and maybe the one or other box I'll create in this way, but not a completly new portal!

no I think just add on like mod.
I have completed about portal how to build it etc.
I will send you my idea, for totaly new way of building a portal, simple for users.

Look on phpbbhacks.com for the Blend Portal Mod. This already can manage modules for each block

so that is already maded.
