I installed Download Mod at my board and it's running on it. It's really working and great. But , I think , I found some bugs or , don't know . One thing is , For the external Download Link. I give that one for r register user. Not for Guest. But, guest can also download external links too. Also , when i go and do permission from admin panel, it didn't work too. I tried with others way too , Like , I only tick view and not tick on download, but still guest can download. Can anybody help me with things ? I am really need that one for my external download links. I don't want to give guests to download. Please help me. Thanks.

External links will ever be downloadable by each user!

Reason:
PHP could not manage files on external servers as on the local host.
So the MOD will not handle the user permissions for external downloads like for "internal" files.

At least:
"It's not a bug, it's a feature."

Try to protect the download folders on the external server with .htaccess and only allow access from your server (by fixed ip).
You've no other chance to protext the external downloads lika this!

Yea, thx for the replying and solving my problem.

Yea, problem is my currently server is not enough space and there's can't be store many files. I buy another hosting to make download server, stores the items there and get give external download link at that download mod and , get that problem. Plus, I don't want to transfer that host to my whole site (currently host). Coz , the new host is just for temporary making. That's why.

Humm ...is there any other way to modify the code , not with .htaccess .. because , I want to get the privacy on my site and , i want guest to register.

PHP itself can't handle files on external servers like those which are saves on the own server, so the Download MOD will not be able to handle the Downloads like internal files!
