The following things have been included:

Traffic is based on the pointssystem mod.
Users get a start traffic when they register.
There is a traffic limit for the community. This limit is also active for "free" downloads. That is to make sure that this limit is not exceeded, even if you only offer "free" downloads
German translation (non-formal) for the points-mod.
FAQ for the points-mod.

There is one big change: I have made ONE admin plugin for the download-mod which integrates ALL original modules and also the additional functions.

If you find any error, please mail them to ltiefland@colony7.net (or post them in this thread) and I will correct them.

BTW: There is only an English install instruction which consists of both mod instructions. But I have integrated two (English And German) Readmes. You should read at least one of them. I also have prepared the download-mod files for some hosts. On some hosts the "bcmath"-functions are NOT available. Therefore there is a file which defines "bcmul()" and "bcdiv()". To activate it you only have to uncomment ONE line in "downloads.php" and "admin/admin_dl_config.php" as described in the readme.

ich würde gerne für externe downloads auch traffic für die user berechnen da meine downloads ausschliesslich über den 2.server läuft.
ist dies möglich? wenn ja wie?

Sorry, aber Hotschi hat leider keine Zeit mehr, um sich um die Seite zu kümmern! Deswegen hat er mich jetzt auch hier zum Admin auf seiner Seite gemacht und ich kümmere mich jetzt darum und werde auch den Mod weiterentwickelen.

Ich habe vor eine perfekte Kombination aus den beiden Mods zusammen machen und natürlich noch vieles mehr...

But for the people that is thinking on installing this, remember that you will have to fix more than 20 BIG bugs that it has

(i have got already 23 fixed, and there are still more to go)

I hope that maybe somebody will take this project and will make it work right....

I am the new admin on this site and I want to release a new version of the mod and I have only posted this link, because so many people requested it.
But with my PHP-skills not being that good, it's quite hard for me, so I would be quite pleased, if you could help me a bit. Would it be possible that you send me the bugs that you have found, so I can fix them for the next version?

I've fixed the installation instruction of this mod, because it hat been very bugy, so I could install it with Easy Mod.
Now I've uploaded the version with the fixed installation instruction, but I tell you: DON'T USE IT!

I could install it now, yes, but since then (it was only a test forum), nothing works at all, the complete forum crashed.

So of course you can try on your own (when you've fixed all, well I guess 20, bugs, send it to me, so I can upload it for the next generations :mrgreen: but before you try, BACKUP EVERYTHING YOU CAN, FILES, DATABASE... )

if I allready have cash mod, how to intergrate with download mod?
