Path does not exist

No matter what I enter I get "path does not exist" when creating a category. Ive read a thread on here and tried its solution but its not working. My general config path is /downloads. My subcateggory path shhould be /test but its not working. Any help?

Again:
Enter "test/" not "/test" for the category path.
And the folder must exist before using it!

I did that but its stll giving the error. Im putting the test folder inside the download folder on my phpbb root. Thtas correct isnt it?

As I wrote:
The folder must physically exist before creating a category.

Its a folder thats been on my server for the past 3 months. I tried creating a new folder as well the adding it as a category and still getting the same error. Sorry I've followed everything so I cant figure out whats going on.

o.m.g. Im soooo sorry. Im a idiot. On the general config page I had a entire address in there "
http://www.mysite.com/downloads
I removed everything but downloads and added a / at the end so "downloads/" and it worked. So sorry.
