when you enable email for new downloads (email notification)
You get emails for every new download thats submitted...

Is there any solution to do this once a day... I got many downloads submitted every day so its kinde spamming if you get 40 emails a day

You can block the emails while creating a new download part in a forum completely or once per download upload.
Sending one email per day / timespan means to run a script which will do this. E. g. a cronjob.
And if you will publish security downloads the user will known about this just after several hours?

About your several ideas:
The mod is currently heavy enough and haves many functions, so we wuill add new idea only, if it will helps not only one or a less number of users. So sorry for the many negative responces...
